Firearms are the leading cause of death for children and teens in the U.S., with over 120 people dying per day from gun-related injuries. Black and brown children and teens are disproportionately more likely than white children and teens of the same age to die by gun homicide. The statistics for gun violence are staggering, but the real tragedy is that gun violence is a preventable crisis that we can stop.

Stop Gun Violence PAC recruits and invests in candidates running for state and federal office who will stand up to the NRA and pass life-saving gun violence prevention laws. Founded by veterans of the gun violence prevention movement, our leadership team identifies and invests in candidates who prioritize saving lives over the NRA’s and MAGA Republicans' “guns everywhere” mission.

SUPPORTING CANDIDATES

Lifesaving legislation is within our reach, but for too long, the NRA and their allies have placed profits over public safety. We are an organization fueled by a national network of grassroots supporters. In the 2024 cycle, we will invest over $1 million to directly support gun violence prevention champions at the state and federal levels.
